San Antonio Teen Added to Texas 10 Most Wanted for Sonic Manager Murder

Adiah Namir Roberson

The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) has added 17-year-old Adiah Namir Roberson to the Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives List. A cash reward of up to $5,000 is being offered by Texas Crime Stoppers for information leading to her arrest, with Crime Stoppers of San Antonio offering an additional reward of up to $5,000. All tips provided are guaranteed to remain anonymous.

Roberson, from San Antonio, has been wanted out of Bexar County since July 2024 in connection with the murder of Daniel Shrewsbury, a 33-year-old manager at a Sonic drive-in restaurant. The incident occurred at approximately 9:30 p.m. on July 7, 2024, at the Sonic located at Babcock and Eckhert in San Antonio. Shrewsbury, who was covering the overnight shift, had reportedly just arrived at work when he discovered that Roberson had allegedly taken around $100 from a tip cup. When Shrewsbury went to take pictures of the license plate on the vehicle she was in, Roberson allegedly got out of the vehicle and shot him in the chest. Shrewsbury made it inside the restaurant before collapsing and dying at the scene.

Police have arrested Joshua Joseph, 27, who is believed to have been the getaway driver. Authorities are also searching for a third person who was in the vehicle at the time of the shooting.

In addition to the murder charge, Roberson is also wanted in Bexar County for forgery of a government document. She is described as 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing about 110 pounds, with piercings on her nose, upper and lower lips, face, and eyebrow.
