Young Man’s Body Recovered After Vehicle Swept Away in High Water in Medina County

On Monday, November 4, around 9 p.m., Medina County Dispatch received a distress call from a driver trapped in a vehicle swept off the roadway by high water. Rescue teams immediately responded, locating the vehicle unoccupied near Park Road 37. Despite extensive search efforts, first responders faced challenging conditions as they combed the area for the missing individual.

The search concluded with the discovery of the victim, a 20-year-old man, who tragically lost his life in the incident. Law enforcement has notified the family but will withhold the individual’s name to respect their privacy.

Authorities urge caution for those traveling in the Park Road 37 area as rescue personnel continue working in the vicinity.
