Traffic Stop in Bandera Leads to Arrest for Possession of Controlled Substance and Stolen Firearm

On Wednesday morning, January 15, 2025, a Bandera City Marshal conducted a routine traffic stop within city limits, leading to the arrest of the driver. The individual was later identified as having an outstanding warrant out of Bexar County for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle. During the stop, the driver was found to be in possession of a controlled substance and unlawfully carrying a weapon.

The firearm discovered in the vehicle was reported stolen from San Antonio. Following the arrest, the individual was taken into custody on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawfully Carrying a Weapon.

The Bandera County Sheriff's Office assisted in the investigation, and local authorities continue to coordinate efforts as the case proceeds.
