Guadalupe County Fugitive Apprehended in Schertz for Failing to Register as Sex Offender

On January 16, 2025, the Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Apprehension Unit arrested 64-year-old Francisco Perres Rivera Jr., a wanted fugitive on the county's Most Wanted list.

Rivera was located in the city of Schertz and is charged with violating the duty to register as a sex offender with previous convictions. He has been required to register annually for life as part of his sentence stemming from September 1989.

He was convicted for Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child under the age of 10.  Rivera was 25 at the time.

His current listed address is in the 5300 block of Cabana Drive in Schertz, Texas.
