The Bandera High School Powerlifting Team kicked off their season on Saturday, January 18, 2025, competing at Legacy Middle School in a meet hosted by East Central High School.
The team showcased grit and determination throughout the event, with several lifters earning medals. Ruby Lister (220), Merry Robinson (105), and Logan Harman (SHW) each secured 3rd place finishes, while Ashton Robinson (165) claimed his first-ever 1st place medal.
A special acknowledgment was given to Wesley Smith-Walker for his support during the event.
The team looks forward to their next competition on February 1, 2025, at Somerset Jr. High School.
