Bandera County Deputies Seize Methamphetamine in Two Major Drug Busts

The Bandera County Sheriff’s Office continues to target the criminal drug trade with significant arrests following two separate interdiction stops in February 2025.

On February 20, 2025, Deputies with the Criminal Interdiction Unit (CIU) executed a traffic stop near Wharton’s Dock Road, resulting in the seizure of 400 grams of controlled substances, an illegal firearm, and cash linked to drug trafficking activities.

A second operation took place on February 27, 2025, when CIU investigators, working alongside Criminal Investigation and Patrol Divisions, stopped a vehicle on Highway 16 in Pipe Creek. Deputies recovered 652 grams (1.43 pounds) of methamphetamine, intended for sale in the Bandera area.

Both incidents led to felony arrests for Manufacture/Delivery of Controlled Substances. Sheriff Josh Teitge commended the efforts of the Sheriff's Office in keeping Bandera County safe and drug-free.
