The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) has announced the arrest of Clarence Enyi Mfor, 37, a fugitive on Texas’ 10 Most Wanted Criminal Illegal Immigrants List. Mfor was apprehended on Sunday, March 2, in San Antonio by DPS Special Agents assigned to the Texas Anti-Gang (TAG) Center.
Mfor, originally from Cameroon, had been wanted by authorities in Bexar County since January 2025 for sexual assault charges. His criminal history includes previous arrests by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in California in 2019 for alien inadmissibility and again in May 2023 in San Antonio for failure to possess an immigration visa. He was later released from detention.
A Crime Stoppers reward will not be paid in connection with Mfor's arrest. The capture represents a significant step in the ongoing efforts to apprehend individuals on Texas' Most Wanted Criminal Illegal Immigrants List.
