Bandera County Deputies Seize Over 1 Kilogram of Drugs in Recent Interdiction Stops

The Bandera County Sheriff’s Office continues its aggressive efforts to combat drug trafficking within the community. On February 20, 2025, deputies from the Criminal Interdiction Unit (CIU) conducted a traffic stop near Wharton’s Dock Road. During the search of the vehicle, officers seized 400 grams of controlled substances, an illegally carried firearm, and cash linked to drug sales.

In a separate operation on February 27, 2025, CIU investigators, working with the Criminal Investigation and Patrol Divisions, executed another interdiction stop on Highway 16 in Pipe Creek. This time, deputies discovered 652 grams (1.43 pounds) of methamphetamine intended for distribution in and around the City of Bandera.

Both incidents resulted in felony arrests for the Manufacture/Delivery of Controlled Substances. The Bandera County Sheriff’s Office remains dedicated to ensuring the safety and drug-free status of the community.
