Wilson County Authorities and DEA Dismantle Narcotics Distribution Network, Multiple Arrests Made


A long-term investigation conducted by the Wilson County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) San Antonio Group D53, with assistance from the Wilson County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Interdiction Unit, has resulted in the arrest of multiple individuals involved in narcotics distribution networks within Wilson County.

Over the past several weeks, the following individuals were apprehended on after-indictment warrants:

  • Jayla Hernandez (30, Floresville, TX) – Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 ≥ 1g < 4g (2 counts)
  • Rhiannon Middleton (41, Floresville, TX) – Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 ≥ 1g < 4g in a Drug-Free Zone
  • Sergio Lara (55, Floresville, TX) – Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 ≥ 4g < 200g
  • April Pedroza (30, Floresville, TX) – Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 ≥ 4g < 200g
  • Amanda Sanchez (46, Floresville, TX) – Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 ≥ 4g < 200g
  • Max Marroquin (55, Floresville, TX) – Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 < 1g; Assault Causing Bodily Injury
  • Rex Wright (56, Floresville, TX) – Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 ≥ 1g < 4g
  • Tony Alfaro (56, Falls City, TX) – Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 ≥ 1g < 4g

Additionally, John Ochoa (27, Floresville, TX), who is currently serving a sentence with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, has an active indictment warrant out of Wilson County for Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 ≥ 1g < 4g. He will be transported to the Wilson County Jail upon his release to face these charges.

Authorities are also seeking Arianna Hernandez (26, Floresville, TX), who has an outstanding indictment warrant for a felony drug-related offense. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is urged to contact the Wilson County Sheriff’s Office at 830-393-2535 or Wilson County Crime Stoppers anonymously at 888-808-7894.

During the operation, a search warrant was executed in the 1000 block of County Road 108 in Floresville, TX, resulting in the discovery of six firearms, methamphetamine, and marijuana. A stolen Ford F250 was also recovered at the location.

The Wilson County Sheriff’s Office indicated that additional arrests and charges are pending as the investigation continues. The Sheriff’s Office expressed its gratitude to the DEA and all partner agencies for their dedicated investigative efforts and commitment to ensuring public safety. This operation is considered a significant step in combating the distribution of dangerous narcotics within the Wilson County community.
