Boerne Independent School District is gearing up for its upcoming School Board of Trustees election scheduled for Saturday, May 4, 2024. The deadline for candidates to file their applications for a place on the ballot passed on Friday, February 16, at 5:00 p.m.
Here are the candidates for each position up for election this year, listed according to the order in which their packets were submitted:
Place 1: Carlin Friar (incumbent), Mike Stewart, Candace Affeldt
Place 2: Dallas Pipes, Noah Oviedo
Place 3: Courtney Darter-Bruce, Thomas Nordstrand
Those interested in filing a declaration of Write-In Candidacy have until Tuesday, February 20, at 5:00 p.m. to do so. Candidates also have the option to withdraw their names from the ballot until Friday, February 23, at 5:00 p.m.
Early voting is set to commence on Monday, April 22, and will run until Tuesday, April 30, with the election day being Saturday, May 4.
