Bandera Independent School District (BISD) has issued a warning to the community regarding fraudulent promotional scams falsely claiming to support Bandera High School.
In a statement released by the school district, BISD officials stated, "It has come to our attention that there are promotional scams circulating in our community, falsely claiming to support Bandera High School. PSI Promotional Specialties is not affiliated with Bandera ISD, and any claims of funds benefiting our school are untrue."
The district cautioned residents to be wary of emails originating from psi@psics.net or any other addresses ending in psics.net, emphasizing that they are not legitimate.
Furthermore, BISD emphasized that all legitimate fundraisers and sponsorships for the district will be sent from a banderaisd.net email or from an approved vendor.
"If you have any doubts or questions regarding the validity of sponsorship requests for our athletic calendars, shirts, or any other items, please reach out to BISD Communications at communications@banderaisd.net or contact the athletic secretary at nflowers@banderaisd.net," the statement continued.
The district urged the community to work together to safeguard against scams and ensure that genuine support goes towards benefiting Bandera ISD.
