Bandera County Sheriff's Office received information regarding a potential arrest of wanted murderer, Freda Thomas, in Mexico on April 1, 2024.
UPDATE: Following identification by the US Marshals Service, it has been confirmed that the individual in custody is NOT Freda Thomas.
Freda Michelle Thomas remains wanted for the murder of 88-year-old Robert Isaacks in Bandera County. Isaacks' body was discovered in Crockett County, approximately 215 miles northwest of San Antonio, on November 17. In December 2023, a Jeep linked to the search for Thomas was found in Las Vegas.
