In the early hours of March 8, a violent incident unfolded on Rue De Lis Street, leaving residents shaken and authorities seeking answers. According to reports from the San Antonio Police Department, around midnight, two young males armed with guns burglarized a vehicle in the 8900 block of the street.
One of the males reportedly entered the vehicle and seized a gun from within, while the other stood watch. As events escalated, the victim, upon noticing the burglary, confronted the suspects as they were in the midst of their crime. In response, one of the assailants allegedly fired shots at the victim, prompting him to return fire into the ground for self-defense.
