Gillespie County Sheriff's Office Weekly Report: August 5, 2024 - August 11, 2024

Monday, August 5, 2024:

  • 7:14 AM: A deputy responded to a report of a reckless driver on South SH 16. The driver, a 26-year-old male from Fredericksburg, was arrested for No Driver’s License, Speeding, and Expired Registration.

Tuesday, August 6, 2024:

  • 8:54 PM: Deputies were called to a building in the 3000 block of Ranch Road 965 where a 30-year-old male family member from Fredericksburg had broken in and was causing a disturbance. He was arrested for Resisting Arrest, Search, or Transport. The family chose not to pursue burglary charges, but the male was criminally trespassed from several properties.
  • 9:25 PM: A traffic stop in the 19000 block of West US Highway 290 led to the arrest of a 41-year-old female passenger from Fredericksburg for outstanding warrants.

Wednesday, August 7, 2024:

  • 3:36 AM: A traffic stop in the 4700 block of East US Highway 290 resulted in the arrest of a 34-year-old male driver from Stonewall, TX, for outstanding warrants.
  • 4:08 PM: A 24-year-old female from New Braunfels, TX, was taken into custody at the Gillespie County Courthouse by a deputy following a court remand.

Thursday, August 8, 2024:

  • 10:54 PM: Four individuals were transported from the courtroom to jail. They included a 35-year-old male from Ingram, TX; a 22-year-old male from Hutto, TX; a 43-year-old female from Lampasas, TX; and a 45-year-old male from Fredericksburg, TX.
  • 12:49 PM: A deputy assisted a vehicle on South US Highway 87, discovering that a 45-year-old male from Seguin, TX, had an active warrant. He was arrested for a Motion to Revoke Probation.

Friday, August 9, 2024:

  • 10:51 AM: A traffic stop led to the arrest of a 70-year-old male from Mason, TX, for a parole violation warrant.

Saturday, August 10, 2024:

  • 10:50 PM: A crash in the 1800 block of Ranch Road 965 involved a vehicle striking a power pole. The driver, a 24-year-old female from Baytown, TX, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated.

All arrested individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
