Juvenile Arrested for Making Explosive Threats at Clemens High School in Schertz

On October 30, 2024, at approximately 1:53 PM, the School Resource Officer (SRO) at Clemens High School, located at 1001 Elbel Road, was alerted by school administration about a student who reportedly threatened to bring an explosive device to school and shoot up the school.

The SRO, in collaboration with a school administrator, contacted the juvenile student, who admitted to making the threatening statements. The student was subsequently placed into custody and is facing charges for Terroristic Threat, a third-degree felony.

This incident is separate from a previous threat reported on October 29. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities encourage parents to discuss the serious implications of making threats with their children.
