On November 6, 2024, Bexar County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a robbery at Fischer's gas station in the 2800 block of W Loop 1604.
A female victim reported that a Hispanic male wearing a red sweater and black shorts entered the store, stole two 18-packs of Michelob Ultra beer, and fled. While pursuing him outside, she saw the suspect trip and fall. When she laughed, the man threw a full beer can at her from 6–7 feet away, striking her forehead and causing a visible bump.
The suspect escaped in an older white single-cab truck, last seen heading south on Marbach Road towards Highway 90.
