Brooklynn Chandler Willy, 45, of San Antonio, was arrested Tuesday on criminal charges related to obstructing an ongoing federal fraud investigation.
According to court documents, Willy is accused of obstructing and attempting to obstruct an investigation led by the FBI and IRS Criminal Investigation into an investor fraud scheme in San Antonio and Lubbock. Willy, the owner of Queen B Advisors LLC (doing business as Texas Financial Advisory) and Chandler Capital Holdings, allegedly misused $500,000 entrusted to her by a married couple for an investment. Instead of depositing the funds as promised, she used the money for personal expenses, including credit card payments, payments to other investors, and payments to her other business.
The indictment also alleges that in response to a federal grand jury subpoena, Willy produced a false loan agreement and made false statements during an interview with federal agents on November 19, 2024.
Willy faces one count of obstruction of an official proceeding, one count of making a false statement, and one count of aggravated identity theft. The case is being investigated by the FBI and IRS-CI, with prosecution led by Assistant U.S. Attorneys Joe Blackwell and Kelly Stephenson.
An indictment is merely an allegation, and Willy is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
