On January 27, 2025, the New Braunfels Police Department responded to a reported theft at Dick’s Sporting Goods.
Three suspects fled the scene in a maroon Ford Fusion that had been reported stolen. While attempting to evade officers, the vehicle collided with another car at the intersection of Highway 46 South and the I-35 frontage road.
The pursuit came to an end in the VIVO parking lot, where officers apprehended the driver and two passengers. All three suspects are now in custody and face multiple charges.
The case remains under investigation.
