The Medina County Sheriff’s Office received two theft reports from the D’Hanis area on February 12, 2025. The first report came from the Medina County Precinct Yard, where a Caterpillar front-end loader was reported stolen overnight. A second report was made from the SKP Park, where a golf cart was also stolen during the night.
Medina County investigators began following leads, and by February 13, 2025, they obtained evidence establishing probable cause to issue two arrest warrants for Jearek Lumbreras. Lumbreras was taken into custody and booked into the Medina County Jail on two counts of Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle.
Both the stolen golf cart and front-end loader were recovered and returned to their owners.
