Kerr County Man Arrested in Drug Bust

In a joint operation, the Kerr County Sheriff's Office Special Operations Division, in collaboration with the Central Texas Criminal Interdiction Unit from Kendall County Sheriff’s Office, executed a narcotics search warrant in the 200 block of Way Drive, Ingram, Texas on September 26, 2023.

During the search, approximately 22 grams of suspected methamphetamine were recovered from the residence. Gregory Gary Gutermuth, 53, of Ingram, the subject of the investigation, was arrested without incident. At the time of his arrest, Gutermuth was out on bond for a previous theft charge with convictions in Kerr County.

Investigators also obtained information indicating that Gutermuth had allegedly sold up to two additional ounces of methamphetamine in the local area within the prior twenty-four hours.

Gutermuth has been booked into the Kerr County Jail on one count of Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance, PG1, >=4G<200G, with bond set at $35,000.

“Methamphetamine ruins lives, and we are pleased to have made progress against the meth trade in western Kerr County,” said Sheriff Larry Leitha. “Our investigators and interdiction team work hand in hand to confront drug dealers and protect the citizens of Kerr County.”
