New City Manager Sworn In at Kerrville Municipal Court

In a brief ceremony held at city hall on Monday, Kerrville Municipal Court Judge Lucy Pearson administered the oath of office to Dalton Rice, officially appointing him as the new City Manager of Kerrville.

Rice, accompanied by his wife Anna and their children Rylan, Ryker, and Rhett, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity. He brings extensive experience to Kerrville, having previously served as the city manager at Morgan’s Point Resort in Central Texas near Temple. With over 13 years of military service in the United States Army and eight years in municipal government, Rice is well-equipped to take on this new role.

“I look forward to meeting everyone and working hard to keep Kerrville the gem of the Texas Hill Country,” Rice stated during the ceremony. “My family and I are so happy to be in Kerrville and honored to serve our citizens.”
