Three Bandera ISD Educators Receive Awards from Houston Sports Authority and College Football Playoff Foundation

As the College Football Playoff championship game gears up to take place at NRG Stadium in Houston this January, the Houston Sports Authority, in collaboration with the College Football Playoff Foundation, has recognized and celebrated the dedication of educators across the state. The result of this collaboration is the Great Teachers Change Lives award, a testament to educators who go above and beyond for their students both in the classroom and on the playing field.

Nominees for the award were carefully considered by a selection committee, which then chose those educators deemed worthy of the honor. This week, the spotlight shines on three outstanding educators from Bandera Independent School District (ISD), as they were presented with the prestigious award.

Cody Fields, Brady Keane, and Jeremiah Silone, all from Bandera ISD, were each bestowed with a College Football Playoff game ball, a Great Teachers Change Lives T-shirt, and a $50 gift card to be used toward enhancing their classrooms. The awards were presented by Mr. John Milner, President of the Bandera County Association of Texas Professional Educators.
