On January 2, 2023, Kerrville Police Officers arrested 25-year-old Cody Austin Duncan of Kerrville. Duncan faces charges of Criminal Trespass of Habitation, Criminal Mischief >=$2500<$30k, and possession of controlled substance PG2 >=1g<4g.
His bond was set at $11,000, and he is currently held in Kerr County Jail.
This arrest follows a previous incident on November 17, 2023, when he was arrested for driving without a license in Kerrville. On November 23, 2021, Duncan was arrested by the Shenandoah Police Department in Montgomery, Texas, while living in Conroe. He was charged with burglary of a vehicle after being stopped on Interstate 45 with a stolen vehicle.
Duncan notably bears a tattoo of a cross on his left arm with the scripture John 3:16, which reads, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." The irony of this tattoo raises obvious questions, considering his recent criminal history.
