Burglary Suspect Apprehended in Hondo After Residential Break-In

In the evening of January 3, 2024, at around 9:50 p.m., officers from the Hondo Police Department swiftly responded to a residence in the 2400 block of Colony Drive in Hondo, Texas, following a report of a suspicious person. Upon reaching the scene, officers made a disconcerting discovery—the residence had been burglarized, evidenced by visible damage to the entry door.

The suspect, later identified as Quentin Rodriguez of Hondo, was pinpointed in the vicinity shortly after the officers' arrival. Acting promptly, law enforcement took Rodriguez into custody for the alleged Burglary of a Habitation. A witness positively identified him as the person involved in the incident.

As of now, Quentin Rodriguez remains in custody at the Medina County Jail, with a bond set at $50,000.
