Bandera County Sheriff Dan Butts posted the following statement:
"Some of you are concerned with the ending of Title 42, Bandera County Sheriff’s Office is aware of the conditions at the border and are monitoring them closely. We will continue to respond to calls of service to ensure the safety of our citizens."
"In the past, Bandera County has avoided the influx of illegal aliens because we are not on one of the main routes from Mexico to the north. However, this does not mean we will not see an increase in traffic. We all need to be alert. Keep your doors locked, your vehicles and your property secured.
